Masquerade-music at Nottingham Saxday 6th March

(March 06, 2011)

Masquerade-music are delighted to have been invited to the ever popular Nottingham Saxday. This years event takes place on Sunday 6th March 2011 at Djanogly recital room, Nottingham University and is aimed at players of intermediate - advanced level. Observers (non playing) can also have a saxophone filled day watching the masterclasses, picking up advice on technique, improvisation, new products and more. The end of day concert is also a must see!

We will have our sheet music available on the day which includes music for saxophones(of course!) Clarinet and flute. The sheet music will be available at special reduced 'Saxday' prices. There will be audio clips available to listen to of most of our music on the day in addition to freebies to take away!  (free sheet music and sampler cd's).

If you would like to try out a piece of our music in the free time session (or any other free time you manage to squeeze) come and see us at some point and we can loan you a copy. We stock the ever popular 'Kayleigh in Killarney' (a celtic style SATB saxophone quartet) and are hoping to release our new 'Pick & mix quartets' (flexible saxophone quartet / woodwind ensemble aimed at grades 2 - 4) collection in time for Saxday but unfortunately this cannot be guaranteed at the moment.

Keri will be manning the stall and should be around particularly at lunch time to answer any questions etc.

We hope to see you there :)
